Siladi was founded by a Dominican designer based in New York City, shaped by a journey rooted in creativity, resilience, and self expression.
The brand began with upcycling shoes, reworking and reimagining existing footwear into new forms of style. What started as experimentation soon evolved into a deeper craft: hand making shoes and exploring the balance between aesthetic, structure, and comfort.
As the vision grew, Siladi transitioned from handmade pieces to small-batch manufacturing, allowing each design to be refined with greater precision while staying true to its artistic foundation.
Influenced by NYC's energy and a strong Dominican heritage, Siladi reflects a blend of culture, identity, and intention. Each silhouette is designed as more than footwear, it is an expression of confidence, presence, and individuality.
